We offer a wide range of parquet including classic oak, ash and beech parquet, prefinished parquet with factory-applied finish, solid parquet, engineered parquet, and herringbone and English pattern parquet. Classic parquet is the most popular and can be refinished multiple times. Prefinished parquet comes with a factory finish and can be used immediately after installation. Engineered parquet is ideal for spaces with underfloor heating as it is more resistant to temperature and humidity changes.
The duration of installation depends on the size of the space and the type of parquet. For an average room of 20-40 m², classic parquet installation takes 3-5 working days, including subfloor preparation, gluing, sanding and varnishing. Prefinished parquet is installed significantly faster, usually within 1-2 days, as it does not require subsequent sanding and varnishing. Laminate installation is typically completed within one day for a standard room.
The cost of parquet installation depends on several factors: the type and quality of wood selected, the size of the space, the condition of the existing subfloor, the laying pattern, and the chosen finish (varnish, oil or wax). More complex patterns like herringbone require more time and material. Contact us for a free assessment and a detailed quote tailored to your budget and preferences.
Yes, parquet can be installed over underfloor heating, but it is important to choose the right type. We recommend engineered parquet or thinner prefinished parquet that is certified for underfloor heating systems. Oak and ash parquet show the best compatibility. It is important to follow the proper heating protocol and keep the floor temperature below 27°C to prevent the wood from drying out and cracking.
For long-lasting parquet, we recommend regular vacuuming or sweeping with a soft broom, wiping with a slightly damp mop (never soaking wet), using specialised wood floor cleaning products, and placing felt pads under furniture legs. Maintain optimal air humidity between 40% and 60%. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and walking in shoes with hard soles or high heels.
The sanding and varnishing process involves several stages. First, we perform coarse sanding to remove the old varnish and level the surface. This is followed by finer sanding in several passes with progressively finer grits. After sanding, we apply a primer coat, followed by intermediate sanding and the final varnishing in two to three coats. The entire process takes 2-4 days depending on the size of the space. We use professional equipment with dust extraction to minimise mess.
In most cases, yes. Minor damage such as scratches, dents or stains can be repaired with local sanding and revarnishing. For more serious damage, we can replace individual boards and match them to the existing parquet. If a larger number of boards are damaged, we recommend a full floor restoration through sanding and varnishing, which is significantly more affordable than replacing the entire parquet.
Parquet is a natural wooden floor that offers an authentic appearance, durability and the ability to be refinished. Real parquet can last for decades and be sanded and varnished multiple times. Laminate is a multi-layer floor covering with a photographic wood print. The advantages of laminate include a lower price, faster installation and greater scratch resistance. However, laminate cannot be sanded or refinished and has a shorter lifespan. Parquet adds value to your property and provides unique natural beauty.

Yes, we provide a multi-year warranty on all completed work. The warranty for parquet installation is 5 years, for sanding and varnishing 3 years, and for laminate installation 3 years. The warranty covers any defects in workmanship. We use exclusively certified materials from reputable manufacturers who also provide their own factory warranty.
Before we arrive, the space must be completely cleared of furniture and personal belongings. The subfloor must be clean, dry and level. If we are restoring existing parquet, remove all rugs and floor coverings. Ensure access to electricity in the space. If possible, provide parking near the entrance for our equipment and materials. We take care of everything else — from protecting edge surfaces to the final cleanup.
For prefinished parquet and laminate, the space is ready for use immediately after installation. For classic parquet that is sanded and varnished on site, we recommend waiting 24 to 48 hours before walking on the floor. For the varnish to fully cure and for returning furniture, it is ideal to wait 5-7 days. Drying time depends on the type of varnish, temperature and humidity in the space.
The frequency of sanding and varnishing depends on the floor traffic and maintenance. On average, residential spaces require restoration every 7-10 years. High-traffic areas such as hallways or offices may need restoration every 5-7 years. Proper maintenance and regular cleaning with specialised products can significantly extend the lifespan of the finish.

Yes, in most cases laminate can be installed over existing parquet. The old floor must be level, dry and in stable condition — without significant damage, rotten boards or unevenness greater than 2 mm per metre. Our experts will assess the subfloor condition and recommend the best solution. In some cases, additional subfloor levelling may be required before laminate installation.
Wooden floors provide natural beauty, warmth and durability that is hard to achieve with other materials. They significantly increase property value, are hypoallergenic as they do not trap dust or allergens, and can be refinished multiple times over decades of use. Wooden flooring is an environmentally sustainable choice — wood is a renewable resource, and quality parquet can last over 100 years with proper maintenance.
