Welcome to Parketar Osijek. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website parketarosijek.com.hr and the parquet and flooring services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. About Us
Parketar Osijek is a professional flooring company based in Osijek, Croatia, offering parquet installation, laminate installation, sanding and varnishing, and parquet repair services. With over 15 years of experience, we serve residential, commercial, and public clients across Slavonia and Baranja.
2. Services
We offer the following flooring services:
- Parquet installation: Professional fitting of new parquet flooring, including subfloor preparation.
- Laminate installation: Supply and fitting of laminate flooring for homes and businesses.
- Sanding and varnishing: Restoration of existing wooden floors through sanding, sealing, and finishing.
- Parquet repair: Repair and restoration of damaged parquet sections.
All services are subject to availability and a prior on-site assessment. We reserve the right to decline a project if, in our professional judgement, the conditions are unsuitable for the requested service.
3. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided by Parketar Osijek are free of charge and non-binding unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written agreement. Prices are based on the information you provide and the findings of our on-site assessment. Final pricing may differ from the initial estimate if additional work or materials are required due to unforeseen circumstances discovered during the project. In such cases, we will inform you before proceeding with any additional work.
4. Booking and Scheduling
Service dates are agreed upon mutually between you and Parketar Osijek. We will make every reasonable effort to adhere to the agreed schedule. However, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, material supply issues, or circumstances affecting site access. We will notify you promptly of any schedule changes and work with you to arrange an alternative date.
5. Your Responsibilities
To ensure the successful completion of our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your project and property when requesting a quote.
- Ensure clear and safe access to the work area on the agreed dates.
- Remove all furniture, personal belongings, and obstacles from the work area before work begins, unless otherwise agreed.
- Inform us of any known hazards, structural issues, or conditions that may affect the work.
- Make payment in accordance with the agreed terms.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in the written quote or service agreement provided before the commencement of work. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept payment by bank transfer and other methods as agreed. Invoices will be issued in accordance with Croatian tax regulations.
7. Warranties and Guarantees
Parketar Osijek warrants that all workmanship will be carried out to a professional standard using quality materials. We provide a warranty on our workmanship as specified in your service agreement. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper maintenance, excessive moisture, accidents, or normal wear and tear. Any warranty claims must be reported to us in writing within the warranty period.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Croatian law, Parketar Osijek shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or related to our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Website Use
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation. All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the intellectual property of Parketar Osijek or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our prior written permission.
10. Cancellation and Refunds
If you wish to cancel a scheduled service, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled date will not incur any charges. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled work may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover any costs already incurred, such as materials ordered or labour allocated.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Osijek, Croatia.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
